Abstract:
This paper deals with shallow water equations applying to the river (channel) flow simulation. We investigate boundary conditions and propose numerical methods to approximate initial-boundary value problems arized. Some numerical results using the stabilized finite element approach are presented.
Keywords:
Shallow water, splitting method, stabilization techniques for finite elements.
