Abstract:
Testing is an important method for assessing the academic performance of students, providing the necessary feedback to students and instructors. Traditional written tests are common but require much time to process the results. Computer-based testing allows for automatic checking of submitted answers but requires computers and network equipment that make it inappropriate for many classrooms or for classes with multiple participants. This problem may be solved using students' mobile devices. This paper describes the architecture of a mobile service for testing based on an enterprise mobile management platform and the results of evaluation of the service in Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University.
