Boundary layer on a plate heated by radiation

V. V. Ivanov, I. L. Dunin

Institute of Telecommunications
Abstract: The thermal boundary layer is considered for a thin plate, that is heated on the reverse side by radiation, in accordance with Stefan's law. The temperature distribution is found by the method of linearizing transformations. A study is also made on the case of radiative cooling in a medium of zero temperature.
