Abstract: In the present work, oxidation behavior of $\rm NiCrAl$ alloys with $\rm La$ additive and $\rm La$ and $\rm Y$ additives have been investigated at $900$, $1000$, and $1100^{\circ}$C. Oxidation kinetics has been studied using thermogravimetric analysis. The phase constitutions of the surface were determined by X-ray diffraction. Scanning electron microscopy with energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy has been used to observe the microstructural evolution and compositions. Mechanism for the effect of multi rare-earth additives to $\rm NiCrAl$ alloys has been proposed.
