Estimation of convective heat fluxes for meteoroid bodies in a three-dimensional formulation

Abstract: This paper proposes a modified effective length method for calculating heat fluxes in complex geometries in a three-dimensional formulation when moving in the atmosphere at high speeds and describes its software implementation. The method, on the one hand, does not require huge computational costs to obtain results, and on the other, demonstrates stable operation in complex geometries.
