Abstract: On the basis of theoretical and known experimental results, an improved mathematical model of thermochemical destruction of a multilayer thermal-protective coating is presented. Taking into account the heat transfer across the body made it possible to predict with a higher accuracy the state of a protected structure in fire conditions. The numerical results are compared with known experimental data.
