Abstract:
We develop data collection, processing and analysis methods for transport infrastructure condition assessment, which take into account its interaction with the rolling stock. Analytic methods combine express (real-time) and detailed (including laboratory tests of physical and mechanical properties of materials) diagnostic routines. These methods are used in computer simulations, which give estimates of critical regimes for typical infrastructure objects as well as the critical values of basic physical and mechanical properties of materials. These estimates form the basis of requirements for a transport infrastructure monitoring and management system.
