New bimonthly Zoom-seminar «Number Theory and Quantum Physics».
After several years of profound use of algebraic geometry quantum
physicists have made the next step, they are now interested in number
theory, in particular, in algebraic varieties over finite fields and
their zeta-functions.
The aim of this seminar is to establish a “math-phys dictionary” in
this domain. We invite both mathematicians and physicists and try to
make the talks and discussions as clear and understandable as
possible.
The format is either 1-hour talk plus half-an-hour discussion, or
1-hour talk interrupted by so many questions that it lasts at least
one hour and a half.
