Contemporary Mathematics and Its ApplicationsThe journal "Contemporary Mathematics and Its Applications" was founded in 2003 in the
Institute of Cybernetics of the Georgian National Academy of Sciences.
At the present time, the journal is published in Russian
by the Georgian Technical University. The English translation of the journal is
published by Springer Science+Business Media, Inc. (USA) within the framework of the series
"Journal of Mathematical Sciences".
The journal is devoted to the following actual topics of contemporary mathematics:
- mathematical logic and foundations of mathematics,
- number theory,
- algebra,
- algebraic geometry,
- Lie groups and the theory of representations,
- geometry,
- topology,
- real analysis and functional analysis
- complex analysis,
- ordinary differential equations,
- partial differential equations,
- mathematical physics,
- probability theory and mathematical statistics
- discrete mathematics.
The journal is focused on publication of surveys as well as articles containing novel results.
