Graduated from Kuibyshev Aviation Institute in 1969 (KuAI; presently, S.P. Korolyov Samara National Research University). Currently he works as the Chair of Communications Systems department of Povolzhskiy State University of Telecommunications and Informatics. Research interests are computer optics, measurements
techniques and instrumentation for scientific research, and testing of complex technical items.
