Graduated from the Vienna University of Technology 1984 majoring in Industrial Engineering. After several positions in the industry he returned to the University, currently holding the position of a project assistant at the Institute for Production Engineering and Laser Technology at Vienna University of Technology. His research interests are focused on lasers and laser machining. He is co-author of more than 10 scientific papers.
