Graduated (1993) from Urals Polytechnical Institute. He received his Candidate's degree in Technical Sciences in 1995 and DrSc degree in 2000 from Tampere University. At present, she is Head of Capricat LLC (Florida, USA). The areas of research interests include digital signal and image processing, geoinformatics and pattern recognition, quantum computing.
