Graduated with honour (1977) from the S.P. Korolyov Kuibyshev Aviation Institute (presently, Samara Univercity), majoring in Applied Mathematics. He received his PhD in Technical Sciences (1985). At present time he is holding a position of Associate Professor at Samara Univercity Technical Cybernetics sub-department. Research interests include numerical methods and computer simulation in physics.
