Rational connectedness of threefolds containing all curves

Any smooth projective curve embeds into a three-dimensional projective space. Furthermore, all smooth curves embed into a given rationally connected threefold. Following Sixuan Lou's paper showing the converse, we prove that threefolds containing all curves are rationally connected.
