Exceptional field theory: supergravity in $5+27$ dimensions

In this talk the construction of explicitly duality covariant supersymmetric field theory will be presented. This is based on $5+27$-dimensional extended space-time endowed with the structure of generalised geometry. This framework allows to address geometric and non-geometric supergravity compactifications in a unified way.
