On decay of entropy solutions to degenerate nonlinear parabolic equations

Under a precise nonlinearity-diffusivity assumption we establish the long time decay property (in Stepanov norm) of an entropy solution to a degenerate nonlinear parabolic equation with perturbed periodic initial function.
