The outstanding scientist academician Vasilii Sergeevich Vladimirov would have had his 95th birthday on January 9, 2018. He made fundamental contributions to mathematical physics, complex analysis, $p$-adic analysis and its applications, Tauberian theory, transport equation, and quantum field theory. V. S. Vladimirov is the creator of one of the leading schools in the field of mathematical physics.

Talks at the conference "Modern mathematical physics" will be presented on the topics of V. S. Vladimirov's research, and also in such areas as mathematical questions of classical, quantum and statistical mechanics and field theory, the holographic approach (AdS/CFT) to the study of quantum systems, gravitational theory, quantum biology, artificial intelligence and machine learning and others.
