Subject:
The classification of Abelian and nilpotent subgroups of all finite simple groups, except sporadic, is completed. We found orders, structure, and classes of Abelian and nilpotent subgroups of maximal orders. The classification of Abelian subgroups of maximal order in unipoted subgroups of groups of Lie type, started by Barry and Wong, is completed. We found orders, structure, and classes. We also gave clear uniform way of finding abelian unipotent subgroups of maximal order in all groups of Lie type. Togeather with D. O. Revin the classification of finite $E_\pi$ and $D_\pi$ groups is completed. Togeather with M. C. Tamburini significant progress in solving problem on conjugacy of Carter subgroups in finite groups is obtained.
Biography
22.05.1976З. I was born.
1993 Entered the Mechanics and Mathematics Department of the Novosibirsk State University.
1997 Graduated from MMD NSU, entered the second level (magister degree) of MMD NSU. Began to teach algebra for the first year students of MMD NSU.
1999 Graduated from the second level (magister degree) of MMD NSU, became a PhD student of the S.L.Sobolev's Institute of Mathematics SB RAS.
2000 Awarded kandidate of phisics and mathematics (PhD degree in phisics and mathematics), the title of the thesis is "Abelian and nilpotent subgroups of maximal order of finite simple groups".
01.01.2001-31.08.2001 Began to work in IM SB RAS as a high engineer, than as a senior research fellow.
01.09.2001-31.05.2004 Post-Doctoral grant in the University of Padua (Italy). Worked with Professor Federico Menegazzo and Professor Maria Clara Tamburini.
01.06.2004-present I work in IM SB RAS as a senior research fellow of the laboratory of the Theory of groups, teach algebra for the first year students of MMD NSU, and make lectures "Linear algebraic groups". I am a secreter of the algebra and mathematical logic chair of MMD NSU.
I took part in more than 20 conferences, I've made 10 penary talks.
2007 Awarded Doctor of phisics and mathematics, the title of the thesis is "Carter subgroups of finite groups".
