Adaptive estimation and control for complex systems: past achievements and outstanding challenges / system identification
Biography
Innokentiy Semushin qualified as a graduate Electrical Engineer (1964) in Mathematical Computing and Computer Science and received his Candidate of Science degree (Ph.D. equivalent) in Automatic Control (1970) both from St. Petersburg State Electrotechnical University (LETI). In 1987, he earned his Doctor of Science in Control Systems from the State University of Aerospace Instrumentation (SUAI) in St. Petersburg, Russia. In 1975, he was awarded the academic rank of Associate Professor of Computing Machinery, followed by the rank of Professor of Mathematical Cybernetics and Computer Science in 1990. In 1999, he was honored with the title of Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation. He is currently working as a researcher at the Department of Information Technology, Faculty of Mathematics, Information and Aviation Technologies, Ulyanovsk State University in Ulyanovsk, Russia.
