NOTE TO AUTHORS
- The journal "Theory of Probability and Its Applications" accepts original articles on the theory of probability, general problems of mathematical statistics and applications of the theory of probability to natural science and technology. Articles of the latter kind will be accepted only if the mathematical methods applied are essentially new.
- Articles exceeding 25 doublespaced type-written pages will be accepted as exceptions, by special approval of the Editorial Board only. Papers submitted for publication in the section "Short communications" must be at most 12 typewritten pages. The Editorial Office may request authors to provide translations of their papers into Russian language or to translate these independently and to publish the articles in Russian.
- The paper must be signed by all authors.
- The manuscripts must be prepared by a computer. The usage of a TeX package is preferable and the author(s) have to present a disc with the respective TeX and pdf files. One may also send the TeX and pdf files by e-mail to tvp@mi.ras.ru.
- The list of reference of a manuscript should be prepared in accordance with the rules of the journal and contain papers in the order of appearance and only those cited in the manuscript. References to unpublished papers are not allowed.
- It is necessary to supply a manuscript by an abstract with the key words and phrases. On a separate sheet, the authors must present their affiliations and mailing addresses followed by e-mail's. In case of several authors it is necessary to indicate the name and the telephone or the fax of the corresponding author.

Before sending the manuscript to the Editorial Board, please read carefully the text of the License Agreement.
Upon acceptance of an article, authors shall be asked to complete and sign the License Agreement and send it to the Editorial Board.
The accepted paper cannot be published without a signed License Agreement on the transfer of an exclusive license to the publisher to use the original and translated versions of the paper.
